These programs are being offered in accordance with EmPOWER Maryland legislation. These programs are designed to help meet the state's goals to reduce both electricity usage and peak demand while encouraging commercial, industrial, and government customers to save energy and money.

These programs support the EMPOWER Maryland Energy Efficiency Act. Costs will be recovered through a monthly surcharge on customer bills. Participation in these programs can help offset this surcharge.
